Ceremony

Sacred space. Ancient sacrament. The path back to yourself.

Sound & Vibrational Sacrament

Every cell in your body carries a frequency. When that frequency falls out of alignment — through stress, trauma, illness, or disconnection — you feel it in ways words can barely name. Vibrational sacrament works at that level. Not on the surface, but in the depth of what you are.

At Casa Brújula, we use the power of high-vibrational sound to guide you into the subconscious — to the places where stuck energy, unresolved grief, and old patterns live. In that space, something opens. What was dense begins to move. What was shadow begins to fill with light.

"Release what no longer serves you. Fill that space with consciousness, clarity, and abundance."

The Four Pillars of Transformation

Ceremony opens a door. What you walk through — and how far you go — depends on four elements you bring with you: consciousness, willpower, environment, and habits. These are not conditions for ceremony. They are the terrain of transformation. They are the terrain of it.

Each choice you make in these four areas either deepens your evolution or creates resistance to it. The sacrament does not work on you — it works with you. Transformation unfolds in its own time, often imperceptible to the ego, yet visible to everyone around you. The people in your life will notice before you do.

Every aspect of this path points toward the same horizon: positivity, renewal, and return to your essential self.

What We Offer

Our offerings are held in sacred space with experienced guides. Each modality is distinct — in sacrament, in intention, in how the body and mind receive it. We work with each guest to understand what path calls to them.

Yoga

Yoga at Casa Brújula is not performance. It is a return. Rooted in the ancient tradition of uniting breath, body, and awareness, our practice meets you exactly where you are — whether you are new to the mat or a seasoned practitioner seeking depth.

Held outdoors in the microclimate of the river, surrounded by the sounds of the Sierra Nevada, each session becomes a moving meditation. We use the body as a doorway — to presence, to stillness, to the part of you that was never broken.

Ecstatic Dance

Before language, there was movement. Ecstatic Dance is a free-form practice in which the body is given full permission to express — without choreography, without judgment, without performance. You follow the music and follow yourself.

What emerges in the space of free movement is often surprising. Joy rises unexpectedly. Grief finally finds a shape. Old energy that had no name moves through and out. Ecstatic Dance is catharsis through rhythm — ancient, alive, and deeply human.

Breathwork

The breath is the one system of your body that is both automatic and conscious — a bridge between the world you can control and the one you cannot. Breathwork is the practice of using that bridge intentionally, to reach states of awareness that thinking alone cannot access.

Through guided circular breathing, we move stored emotion, unlock suppressed memory, and allow the nervous system to reset at a fundamental level. Participants often describe experiences as profound as sacred sacrament — without a single substance. The sacrament was always in you.

Massage & Bodywork

Touch is one of the oldest forms of care. In a world that increasingly disconnects us from our bodies, conscious bodywork is an act of restoration. At Casa Brújula, massage is offered not as a luxury but as a therapeutic practice — a way to soften what has hardened, to listen to what the body has been saying.

Sessions are tailored to each guest and may incorporate elements of deep tissue work, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, and energetic holding. Whether you arrive carrying the weight of a long journey or the tension of unprocessed stress, the table is a place to put it down.

Rapé

Rapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred snuff made from Amazonian tobacco and medicinal plants, used ceremonially by indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin for generations. It is blown into each nostril through a pipe called a tepi — a gesture of trust and shared intention between facilitator and participant.

Rapé works swiftly to ground the mind, clear energetic noise, and bring the nervous system into a state of sharp, clean presence. It is often used to open or close ceremony, or as a standalone practice for focus and clarity.

Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca is a sacred sacred sacrament from the Amazon, brewed from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the Psychotria viridis leaf. For thousands of years it has been used by indigenous peoples as a tool for deep insight, purification, and communion with the living intelligence of the natural world.

At Casa Brújula, Ayahuasca ceremonies are held over multiple nights within a full ceremonial container. Preparation begins days before the ceremony and integration continues long after. This is not a casual experience — it is one of the most profound journeys available to the human being who is ready to receive it.

Psilocybin

Psilocybin mushrooms have been used in sacred ceremony for thousands of years across Mesoamerican cultures. Today, they are among the most studied substances in modern consciousness research — consistently producing experiences that participants describe as among the most meaningful of their lives.

At Casa Brújula, psilocybin journeys are held with full ceremonial intention: prepared space, experienced facilitation, and integration support woven into the experience from the very beginning. The mushroom is not a shortcut. It is an invitation — to meet yourself with honesty, to release what has outstayed its welcome, and to return to the world more whole.

Kambo

Kambo is the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor — the giant monkey frog of the Amazon. For generations, indigenous Amazonian peoples have used it as a powerful purge: a full-body reset that clears toxins, lifts deep fatigue, and strengthens the immune system in ways that Western science is only beginning to understand.

A Kambo session is intense and brief. It is not comfortable. But what emerges on the other side is often described as a profound lightness — as if something heavy and unnamed has finally left the body. At Casa Brújula, sessions are facilitated with care, preparation, and full support before, during, and after.

Bufo — 5-MeO-DMT

Bufo alvarius, the Sonoran Desert toad, produces a secretion containing 5-MeO-DMT — one of the most potent psychedelic compounds known to exist. When vaporized and inhaled in ceremony, it produces a complete dissolution of the ego: a merging with the totality of existence that is over in minutes but remembered for a lifetime.

This is not a recreational experience. It is one of the most profound non-ordinary states a human being can enter. At Casa Brújula, Bufo is offered only within a complete ceremonial container — with screening, preparation, full facilitation, and extended integration time. We hold this sacrament with deep respect for its power and its origin.
